I’d like to confiscate “ only great men are assassinated.” Or whatever

your 6th grade imagination thought. Of course you were keee rect . Until one or was it 2 failed upon a lesser person. All history aside. Another fine Normism. Painstaking attempt at presidency. I never dreamt of higher office in grade school. I did however want to be prom Queen in my senior year hs . Nope. It’s ok. You should see the girl today. I’ll wear an invisible tiara. 😂😂😂😂

Ha! I'd like to confiscate "invisible tiara." That's a great title for something.

I appreciate you. That said, I think calling it a campaign is insulting to the idea of campaigns. And probably insulting to democracy in general. Even grade school democracy. ;)

Norm loved this story. But most of all seeing your face. I haven't seen you in quite a while. But wow what a handsome man you are. Love you so much. Aunt Jacque

Hilarious. I can almost imagine you as a kid saying, “When I grow up I want to be assassinated.”

West side Story Club sounds awesome. Enjoy!

The connections my brain makes gets me into my fair share of trouble. Leads to pretty good stories, though. :)

Norm, I really enjoyed your read, as always...you never cease to amaze me with your classic lines, which seem so to actually pertain to our current dilemma, you know, the loss of our Democracy. The line being..."will you keep your promises if you are elected...?" Um, yea...."and, if so what are your promises?" Uh........

Sound familiar? So at least you didn't lie to everyone about your promises, or lack thereof. However our current elected unofficial did, And now he stammers about the lies of promises he made by saying...."well, it's really hard to get prices for groceries down, once they are up..." "So what are you going to do?"...Ah, well, I don't really know at this point. We are all in this together (WE ARE?????)

and will just have to sit it out to see what happens. There are people out there working on things.....yadayadayadayada.

Alas (and other adjectives I won't insert here) we are paying taxes for straight answers just like this one....but I bet we don't get the potholes filled in for 4 years.

Any politician who could actually fill in the potholes would enjoy a lifetime of bipartisan support.

And here I thought I was the worst candidate ever. But I don't aspire to assassination. Yet. :D

Great story, many thanks!

They only apply to Great Presidents who would have insured us a Great-er Country.

A classmate in senior high ran for class President, his poster said "The job needs Jones, and Jones needs the job" I seem to recall he did not win.
