Looks like she’s holding her cup to catch anything that might come out of his butt. So thoughtful.

Priceless. I do hope Molo's new photo-pose phrase is 'Muffins & Buns!' - sure to elicit a genuine smile from all familiar with this iconic photo.

Hopefully, it's the start of a movement and an evolution of the family picture culture. I mean, it can't really get any worse...

What a classy photo. A Frenchman might even say it's "tres cheek."

I love the first four photos, all superb images.

As for the wordplay to open this very revealing essay, the word "mellifluous" just naturally rolls off the tongue, right? Then again, so does "cunning linguist."

Finally: The comments section here RUINED MY DAY. A comment from none other than Captain Skyhook himself? You're damn right I'm jealous...

“Tres cheek” is a world class, multilingual pun. Well done. I’m the one who’s jealous. Can’t believe I’ve missed that all these years.

Love the set up and pay off. 👏🤣 Pictures are awesome. I get so bored of say cheese I usually suggest to the group to make a face. After one heavy meal with the fam we had the waiter take a pic. I said, everyone look like you’re full. I was the only one puffing out my cheeks while everyone else smiled wide.

BTW hubby calls me the “set director” before taking a pic.

The “Set Director” is a pretty solid grandma name when the time comes.

Best pic ever and yes, my mom is just the best!

My teeth don’t show when I smile. No matter how hard I try. Lottery win? Smirk. That’s why I’m not allowed on American television.

The BBC would welcome me, I think.

Bahahahahahaha! Self-deprecation is one of the highest (unlisted) heavenly virtues. Bless you, kind sir.

I would smile at this.

It's the position of the other woman's hands that made me laugh harder! I'll be giggling throughout the day, thank you.

Somehow, that woman understood the assignment. She deserves a best-supporting actress nomination for sure.

Heartwarmingly hilarious, I needed this today!

I'm considering having that pic of my mother-in-law made into a Xmas ornament. It will be part of the sequel to this story.

Two greatest of all time pics! Thanks, Norm, for the first time I’ve ever seen Deb’s hair not perfectly coiffed (she looks adorable with it wet - I’ll tell her when I see her next), and it took me several seconds staring at the second photo to “get it”….CLASSIC!!!!!! And to have Debbie in it just smiling so sweetly with not realizing the background scene just cracks me up 🤣🤣

Pat, you were the target audience for this story.

Hilarious!! Love your Momo!!🥰

Norman T. Leonard's avatar

Ha! I know it's a typo, that you meant to write Molo, but I'm laughing because Momo is a gangster character in Get Shorty. If you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor...

Omg!! Yes! I’m glad I could make YOU laugh!!! She’s a gem!! Hope you. Had a blast in Cabo!!🤣
